Position summary
We’re seeking an experienced IFS Projects Consultant with strong functional knowledge of the IFS Projects module to join our growing US team. If you have hands-on experience working in complex, project-driven environments and enjoy solving real-world business challenges, this role offers you the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.

You’ll play a key role in IFS implementations and upgrades, guiding clients in industries like construction, aerospace, oil and gas, and project-based manufacturing. Your ability to align business processes with ERP best practices will be critical in driving project success and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise clients to understand their project workflows, pain points, and business goals
• Serve as a trusted advisor on IFS Projects module capabilities, configuration, and optimization
• Lead or support full lifecycle IFS implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, deployment, and post-go-live support
• Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements aligned with IFS functionality and industry best practices
• Act as a solution architect, supporting upgrades and transformation initiatives across multiple industries
• Participate in pre-sales activities including demos, proof of concept presentations, and effort estimates
• Lead knowledge sharing and mentorship initiatives to build internal expertise around the Projects module
• Work cross-functionally with internal and external teams, coordinating deliverables across time zones and geographies
• Stay up to date with the latest IFS Cloud features and trends in project-based industries, including emerging technologies like AI and blockchain
• Travel to client sites as required and provide remote support as needed

Required qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with the IFS Projects module
• Deep understanding of project-centric industries, such as construction, aerospace, shipbuilding, and oil & gas
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with technical and business stakeholders
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Practical experience with IFS Cloud, IFS Aurena, and related tools
• Familiarity with PL/SQL, IFS Business Reporter, mobile applications, quick reports, and data migration techniques
• IFS certification in the Projects module and prior consulting experience are highly desirable
