Mitutoyo successfully upgrades to IFS Cloud™ in global rollout

Mitutoyo has officially gone live with IFS Cloud™, completing a major technology upgrade that replaces their previous IFS Applications 10 setup with a modern, cloud-based solution.

The project kicked off in November 2024, and after months of teamwork and close collaboration between Mitutoyo and Platned, the new system went live in July 2025, right on schedule. The implementation spans key business functions including supply chain, maintenance, finance, and HR, providing the tools and flexibility needed to support long-term growth.

With teams spread across the globe, Mitutoyo needed a robust, future-ready ERP system that could unify operations and boost efficiency across all locations. IFS Cloud™ offers that flexibility, improving visibility, streamlining workflows, and helping the company stay agile in a fast-moving global market.
