Platned is privileged to work with the IFS Foundation as a long-term supporter and brand ambassador, contributing in practical ways to projects that serve local communities. The Foundation’s focus on education, healthcare, sanitation, and community development in Sri Lanka aligns closely with our belief in creating opportunity through long-term commitment and partnership.
Opening doors through
education
At Weralugahamula School, new classrooms and a dedicated computer lab will help students learn in safer, more supportive environments. These spaces provide more than facilities. They help young people build confidence, develop skills, and look toward a wider future. Being able to support this work has been a meaningful experience for our teams.
Care that supports everyday life
Platned has also supported improvements to healthcare facilities, including the renovation of medical and dental spaces in Madampe. These projects are essential to families and local communities. Contributing to places where every day care is delivered has been both grounding and rewarding.
Walking together for a cause challenges
Alongside building projects, our colleagues have taken part in Foundation fundraising activities such as the Pekoe Trail challenge, walking across Sri Lanka to help raise awareness and funds. These shared experiences bring together people from different organizations with a common purpose and a deep respect for the communities they support.
Quiet collaboration and care that sit at the heart of the Foundation’s work.
Acknowledgment and ongoing partnership
In 2025, Platned was honored with the IFS Foundation Partner Award, recognizing our ongoing role as a major supporter and brand ambassador. We are also grateful to continue our involvement in events such as the Coast to Coast 2026 challenge, returning as a sponsoring partner to help sustain the Foundation’s work.
Commitment beyond titles
For us, being a brand ambassador is about commitment rather than profile. It means supporting the Foundation’s volunteers, standing alongside its teams, and contributing time and resources wherever possible.
As the Chair of the IFS foundation, Stephen Keys, has noted, the support of partners like Platned helps the Foundation “plan and invest with confidence” in programs that deliver lasting benefit.
