Position summary
We are looking for an experienced IFS manufacturing consultant to join our North America-based team. This is a client-facing, remote role that offers the chance to work with leading organizations across the manufacturing and engineering sectors. If you are highly skilled in the IFS Manufacturing module and enjoy delivering impactful solutions across complex ERP projects, this is your opportunity to contribute to a growing, innovative team.

In this role, you’ll guide clients through the full lifecycle of IFS implementations and upgrades, from initial discovery through post-go-live support.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to analyze their manufacturing and production processes and align them with IFS ERP capabilities
• Customize and configure the IFS Manufacturing module based on specific client needs to improve process efficiency and business outcomes
• Lead or support various project phases including scoping, design, implementation, training, and go-live
• Deliver customer training and ongoing support to ensure successful ERP adoption and ROI
• Serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers optimize their use of IFS ERP products by applying industry best practices
• Continuously expand your expertise in IFS applications, staying up to date on new features and industry developments

Required qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, industrial production, or process engineering
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience working with IFS ERP (from IFS 2003 through IFS Cloud), with a focus on manufacturing and engineering modules
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing industry practices, production workflows, and process improvement
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated, independent worker with a focus on results and client satisfaction
• Technical experience with tools and technologies including:
  • PL/SQL, IFS Cloud, IFS Aurena
  • IFS Business Reporter and Mobile Applications
  • Data migration and integration tools
  • Custom configurations, quick reports, Crystal Reports
• IFS Practitioner certifications in manufacturing and related modules are preferred
• Prior consulting experience and involvement in IFS implementation or upgrade projects is highly desirable
